Supervisor

The Township Supervisor helps lead our local government and works to make sure our community runs smoothly and efficiently. The Supervisor is often considered the township’s “chief executive,” coordinating daily operations and working closely with the Board of Trustees to serve residents.

What the Supervisor Does:

  • Leads Township Operations: Oversees township services, projects, and staff to ensure things run efficiently.

  • Chairs Board Meetings: Leads Township Board meetings and helps set the agenda for discussion and decision-making.

  • Manages the Budget: Works with the board and township departments to prepare and oversee the annual budget.

  • Oversees Property Assessments: Ensures property assessments are fair and accurate (in many townships).

  • Supports the Community: Acts as a connection between residents, local businesses, and other government agencies.

  • Implements Board Decisions: Helps turn board-approved plans and policies into action that benefits the community.

The Supervisor’s goal is to keep the township a great place to live, work, and visit by making sure local government is open, effective, and responsive to residents.
